Cold Spot Feeds Inc. was founded in 1986 by Connie Dubay as an opportunity for creating and bringing high-performance dog food to the interior of Alaska. Originally the store focused on the needs of dog mushers and performance-based animals.

Over the 35 years of being in business the company has evolved into one the premiere pet supply stores in Alaska. Cold Spot currently offers over 10,000 different items ranging from mushing gear to unique pet supplies and has offerings for livestock owners also. Our priority as a company will always to remain focused on offering our customers a friendly, clean and efficient way to shop for the needs of their beloved animals.

Mail order department
Cold Spot's mail order department is ready and available Monday through Friday to receive phone orders, packaging, and shipping product all over the world!
Shipping and fees
Most mail orders, with exceptions, are shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Postage costs are calculated on the weight of your order, including packaging materials. Cold Spot will utilize USPS Flat Rate Boxes when order size allows. Orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail unless they are over 250 lbs. & require palletization.
All orders that are 250lbs or more and require palletization will be packaged, wrapped, and delivered to the airport for transportation. There is a required $100 handling and delivery fee added for every pallet that is to be built and shipped.
